Well still no rain since around 2 am and they are now saying dry for the rest of the day. Is it any wonder that the tourist industry sometimes throws up their hands in despair? For instance the transport people here have been trying to get people to use public transport. With respect to the bus, last this meant booking the day before. This year they have changed to up to 8.30am on the day. But who is seriously going to book like that when the forecasts are so unreliable? Instead they use a car.

Yesterday pm the forecast for today showed rain starting around 1700. Now it has shifted to 1300. Yesterday it didn't look that heavy, now it looks very heavy. Hmmm.

10am: Forecast shifts onset to 12 noon.

Noon: shifts to 13.00

1700: Still just spotting despite forecast of heavy rain since 1300.
