Well one week on my over enthusiastic sowing has not been corrected by poor germination!

Sitting here with a sunburnt bonce after getting loads done at the allotment.
Rotovated the potato area of plot 18, the bit I uncovered (membrane) yesterday was very sticky and I ended up with a ball turner of clay several times. The rear ridger worked a treat on the drier area and I got four thirty foot rows planted, Foremost one row, Nicola three.
Sowed various six foot rows, mostly carrots, cleared my barrel wall of weeds and mulched three raspberry row gaps with some of the £10 load of shredded tree a neighbouring tree surgeon plotholder got for me.

Had to laugh today, i was working at my Mums today, when someone that had bought a couple of chutneys came through the gate. I called to them but they asked for the lady of the house.
Anyway it turned out, that they didn't want to leave the money with the gardener just incase.....
I don't look that dodgy, do i ?

I wouldn't want to comment, OH, not having had the pleasure to meet you!
Some welcome rain today, followed by sunshine. Everything is shooting up, including the weeds.

Just at night of course, Donedigging, as it plays havoc with my busy diary you know....
A wet morning here, bet the slugs and snails have slipped their way from miles to eat my veg.
