It has been throwing it down here all afternoon, flooded roads, thunder and lighting.. :(

Too add to this my filling has just fallen out as well :(

Congratulations to number five grandaughter Monika, it seems like gardeners have bright grandchildren, my youngest sons daughter has just been accepted for Cambridge University, and my eldest sons daughter is doing her second year at Uni in London. :)

Another autumnal day by the look of it at the moment.

Hopefully I will have a bit more spring in my step today than usual. For the first time in 35 years I cooked frogs' legs last night. Sautéed in butter with garlic and parsley. Delicious. I never expected to be able to buy frogs' legs in these parts. They'll be appearing regularly on the menu from now on.

LOL, Did you catch them Alan, or were they farmed? The only ones I see are in my garden. I have a mental picture of you chasing them with a net.
I usually see the frogs basking when I hang out the washing, they are very quick when disturbed.

They were Vietnamese farmed and frozen from a new Chinese supermarket in Bangor.

Banish from your mind the thought of me pursuing frogs across the fields

Actually I don't see frogs here, just toads.

Had another funeral for a good friend at the Church this afternoon, and did he have a good turn out, very nice to see.

Finally managed to mow the lawns at home, but they are so wet and long, just managed to flatten most of it :(
Hope we get a couple of days of dry weather, to go over them again
