I'm with you OH, where I live we don't have the problem though I often use my motorhome to house me for weekend visits to civilisation and such like, I always choose small sites for their peace and quiet rather than any facilities we don't need.

All spoilt by someone needing to share their music with everyone within five square miles and goodness knows how far down-wind.

A courting couple used to park in one of my gateways and play their music as loud as they could at 2am and I thought that they might like some company so I drove the tractor round a put it on high revs with lights blazing into their car.
For the life of me I cannot understand why they no longer use my gateway!

Our new dog heard some idiots dog barking at 03:30 damm fool must have left it out or got home the worse for wear and put it out
Daughter has a school.maths trip down to London today. By coach I believe, could be "interesting". :?

Bright and blue-skied with the sun just rising over the hills here this morning!
This is all very strange for the south to have snow before us on the Mid-Wales Borders. You are very welcome to it!
JB.

Had some snow last night. Youngsters going to school seem to be enjoying themselves.

No snow here as yet but we think it's on its' way because a friends husband has reported 'blizzards' in Cleethorpes and that isn't that far away

Himself is hoping and praying for a decent coverage so that he can go out and play .......... in MY car   (1984 Series III Land Rover 109" pickup called Annie)

Planting Marie Curie Mini Pots of Care daffs with some of the children this afternoon - in a nice warm classroom rather than the freezing cold polytunnel :) . A little bit later than scheduled but sadly a recurring cycle of Winter Vomiting Virus has severely hampered all sorts of plans  .

Right back to writing far too many Christmas Cards. Gonna be ruthlessly pruning the list this year :)

We've had a covering of snow here in Yorkshire and the roads and pavements have been deadly with ice.

My friend's daughter lives in Essex and struggled through the snow on foot with her four year old son and 1 year old daughter in the pushchair only to find the school closed.

I can't remember our school ever being closed because of snow when I was young. We might have been a bit late after climbing through snow drifts, but everyone, including the teachers, got there.

Like Plumpudding, the roads and paths here are lethal out there this morning, so please be careful if venturing out early.

Heaviest frost here in Dorset so far, the few runner beans hanging on look frozen so may appreciate being in really hot water now. :D
