Morning OH

Now, two hours later, there are 45 guests and a good number are listed as Viewing member profile. I didn't think you could do that unless logged in, so clearly you were being stalked

Seriously, though, it would be nice to look at the forum and see some members online and some posts to read. I almost look forward to some spam

Morning all,

OH glad your mum's home and feeling better :)

Managed to get onion sets and broad beans into 2 of the raised beds at school with the help of some of the children, on Friday - we've not had anywhere near the amount of rain other parts of the country have had, so I'm hopeful that all will be well with them.

Was a bit later than I'd planned, due to the Winter Vomiting Virus striking the school, then a bout of rain followed by rock hard, frozen soil impeding digging of any sort but it's done now and all we can do is hope that we get a nice crop of both next year :)

Still some tidying to do at the school but not too far behind now and my own patch is pretty much ready for winter. Seems to be an awful lot of mushrooms/fungii around at the moment!

In Caernarfon this morning; couldn't resist this sight of David Lloyd George with a seagull trying to talk some sense into his long dead head.

First of the 3 Sunday Christmas openings at work today...

I see some Mistletoe has appeared above the entrance to the Blue Temple garden seat.

Sunshine and blue sky....and frozen hard grass car park...which was good news. :)

Left work about 3pm and did a few jobs on the garden at home here taking advantage of the hard ground to get across with dry boots.

Ground solid with frost still this afternoon to 1.5".

-0.8C at present.

Clive.

While we are talking about events, Red Bull Racing had a put a huge event on, in front of Woburn Abbey last night. And as there is nothing between the Abbey and my bedroom window, the Bass noise from the bands was very annoying, even could here it in my sleep, then would wake with a jump. And this went on well into the early hours....sound a right old misery, don't i..... :)

The blue temple sounds a good place to be gardening near at the moment. :)
