When I saw him in Tesco's I did tell him that for bulk buying of Paxo he should go to CostCo. ;)

oldherbaceous

Now i am worried Peter, he does have a member of the family who works at CostCo. 8) :)

Donedigging, Haven't decided what to grow in 2009 yet, spuds are a must and cabbaged,R/beans,will decide after Christmas what else.
No digging done yet, trouble with the old back, I have covered all the empty ground with plastic.

OH and Snooky you are lucky getting cheap manure, the last lot we had about two years ago it cost £80 for the trailer load, but it did come a distance Evesham way, only 2 chaps on our allotment have had manure delivered in the last couple of weeks, 5 trailer loads between them @£100 a load, they are Asains they grow mostly cociander and onions and expect to get 3 crops of coriander off the plots each year, one chap have 4 plots and the other have 5.

Dear Bren, you would be more than welcome to some of my manure, but it's not really the sort of stuff you can post. :)

We get loads of manure delivered to the site and it's 25p per barrow load :D All the money goes into the society which is good.

Haven't been to the lottie for some time now cos of the mum situation but I hope to go on Sunday and do a few things. Like have a nice fire in my stove in the greenhouse, read a book and listen to my mp3 player.

After all, it's all in the planning for next season

Enjoy!

I dread to think of what books Lizzie reads whilst in her greenhouse.

I hope she hasn't got [How to catch Old Herbaceous in three easy stages] yet.

You're OK OH, I know she doesn't have that one.
