OK! I pushed the senility aside & took the shed pics!





Blimey they are the right way up as well! Looks way better from the outside, but this is about a 70% improvement in finding things than previous, even if just plastic bags hanging on a nail, I at least have things together! Back wall is rotting so only about 2yrs of this baby before I need to replace. Then I will get more shelves & sealed containers instead of bags - it will look like a Tupperware party!

I picked my first courgette today!

We've already eaten it with dinner. Delish. I've also planted out my beans and have some very exotic purple podded mange tout going up a few canes beside them. The plants in my straw bales haven't keeled over, in fact, they are looking very perky. Clearly loving their custom built warm root accommodation. Happy days! Tired evenings, mind you, after all that watering!

I hadn't expected 14mm of lovely rain.

Started giving courgettes away yesterday.

Do you think I dare risk taking the bottle cloches off my 25 outdoor tomatoes overnight now. I slip them down over the anchoring stakes to which the toms will eventually tied in and to be honest doing it daily is becoming tedious with my mobility disabilities.
Amazed at the early courgettes which found its way onto a dinner plate. Haven,t planted mine out yet!

I would think so down there. I got a blight warning this morning!

The courgettes are in the polytunnel, I haven't planted outside ones yet.

Oh, what we'd give for some rain down here. No prospect of anything for the next couple of weeks.

Lucky Geoff! We have had 2mm so far but it's brightening up now and no more rain forecast.
The courgettes are outside for the day at the moment. Might risk planting them outside and cover them up over night because it 'promises' fairly warm nights for the next few days.

Just about 3 spots of rain early this morning. When I looked out this morning at 6:30am the two smoother patches of concrete on the drive were damp...but wasn't sure if it was a few spots of rain or a "sweat"..

Glasshouse low last night was 57F up from 55F night before and 50F previous...even with my 20 plus checks a day, I can see good growth in there now
Broad Beans now in full flower and keeping the bees busy...as well as on the raspberries and loganberries

Planted out 4 marrow plants this morning...more to fill a corner than use, I suspect. It's a bit of sometimes harsh ground close to the south border paling fence...but good to keep the ground planted and thus covered...

Second cold frame has a couple of cucumber plants in now...variety, Baby....its been a few years since that frame has been in summer use. Meanwhile, overdue, garden overhaul activities centre on the front garden to a degree these days...

Does anyone else think that Westi's bottom shed photo looks like she has one of The Minions from Despicable Me hiding in her shed? The yellow bucket with kitchen rolls in it? Or is it too much pea pod burdundy?

Lovely meal tonight, first of our Primo cabbage with Rocket potatoes followed by strawberries - who needs supermarkets!
