Morning Grockie, lovely morning here, very much like yourself, bright and beautiful. :)

Been doing a few bits and pieces of the allotment, and been potting Spring cabbage seedlings into trays.

And of course wound the old Church clock up. :)

Plenty wet rain from the early hours..but brightening up now.

Just the job for the lawns we scarified last week with the help of visiting Working Holiday group volunteers...including, the much photo taking, editor of a Swedish magazine........ "Forest Owner".....

Out of the rain....in the greenhouse...Geraniums are looking good

...sorry for thread warp  ....any excuse for a photo...

Lovely colours, Clive! Enjoy them whilst they last.

It's been raining here all day, too, but it was very welcome. The last three days have been gorgeous and we got a lot done on the allotment, including spreading manure and sowing the last green manure. I also sowed a lot of fresh yellow rattle seed on a meadow to try to reduce its fertility, so the rain was just right. Until recently, our pond was still well below the normal level after the dry months in early summer, but it's now coming up nicely.

Also replaced the busy lizzies, badly battered by strong winds at the start of the week, with winter-flowering pansies, underplanted with daffodils, and wallflowers, underplanted with tulips, all in tubs and pots. So the rain will water them in nicely.

And it looks as if we have got three nice warm days to come, and enjoy, just the job.

Still raining this morning (despite not showing on Met Office radar) after being continuous yesterday. Well it watered in the new herbaceous border I planted on Saturday - about 130 plants and 6 packets of bulbs.
