I was about to ask the same question, but I stopped reading the thread about her antics with the epilator as I was starting to feel queasy. Has she missed some bits then?

I was starting to feel queesy too. I think it was the sprout wine and an excuse to get Piglet in there!!!
Still, if it floats your boat then why not? Still, Grock will try anything once or maybe that's just a vicious rumour

Grock is as smooth as a newborn, Knees and all. Didnt you see the kneepads under her tights Lizzie.
Sarah Raven can come and hoe my plot any day. By the way, whats wrong with lace up wellies, Grocks are thigh high.

If lace up wellies rock your world - go for it. Maybe thigh high is taking it a bit far, but that's the Grock for you. She obviously tones it down a bit for her Friday night appearances on GW
I can't really chuck stones. Just come back from the allotment in usual uniform of combat trousers, boots, tatty fleece and usual liberal coating of mud and other nameless grot. I'd ladder tights and get my laces caked with soil in a nano-second if I tried such lady like attire and him indoors would probably faint if he saw me in a skirt

I had to go out last Friday and missed Gardeners World and did not record it. Does anyone know if there is a repeat this week.

Love you lots like Jelly Tots
Hey Grock, never mind Flintlocks. Do you remember Erics, the She club and Pickadicks?!!! Oh, that takes me back.
However, when it comes to clubs in Liverpool you can't beat The Cabin or The Blue Angel. Haven't been for years to either of them. The others mentioned have closed down now for various reasons.
As for clothes, i've got pics of me in some very dodgy gear in the '80's, including a mullet.
Scary stuff. Do any of you lot want to confess any dodgy fashions, hairstyles etc? Come on, don't be shy. I bet Piglet used to be a Mosher Piglet with leather on his trotters!!

Cream lace 'gypsy'top. Worn well down off the shoulders.
Various tiered, flounced, some of them lacey skirts and dresses in Laura Ashley fabrics made by my own fair hands.
Black leather boots with two inch heels (as high as I could walk in).
Silk stockings, black of course.
Floor length bias-cut, panelled, scalloped-hemmed black velvet skirt. Wonder what happened to that.....

How about the bright orange pull on dress made of lycra!!! Fine, until you moved and the hem ended up around your knickers (which wasn't far in my case as I wore them fairly short!!!)
Then there's the checkerboard dresses and white stilletos with black tights
Does anyone remember the bras you could buy which had shoulder pads attached to the straps? Some peoples shoulder pads needed scaffolding

I remember having a salmon pink trench coat with blue boots and matching blue bag. I must have been about 12 and thought I was the dog's doodahs. At about the same time I also had an olive green crocheted dress lined in lime green satin. Disgusting.
During my teens I was into long skirts that wicked up the water from puddles so I spent many evenings with a ring of mud around my ankles. I always made everything but rarely finished any of them off because I wanted to wear them immediately - like the long dress I made for the school dance that my mother had to sew me into down the back because I hadn't got around to putting a zip in. I was still trying to find quick ways of completing things 10 years later and was wearing another long creation, a wrap around skirt with embroidery round the bottom, to a barn dance. My husband stood on the hem of it, as I whizzed around the dance floor and the velcro fastening found it all too much to bear, so I was left dancing in my undies. Fortunately I was slim then!
Going back to my teans, I was very pleased with a long, purple, patterned skirt that I had made from some fabric from the market. I wore it to visit my dad in hospital and the man in the next bed was wearing pyjamas made of the same fabric.
Happy days.

Oh Tigger, you did make me laugh with that posting. I wish I had a funny story too. I remember my friend and I wearing identical blue velvet hot pants (with bib), our turquoise, very short pinafore dresses. Then when I was 16 I remember wearing a white shirt. Just a white shirt!!!
I think we should make it compulsory to ALL dress in our teenage clothes when we meet at Malvern in the Autumn. What a laugh that would be!!

I wouldn't be able to get half me arse into what I used to wear. Probably not a thigh either into me drainpipe jeans, i'll cut of my blood supply
I used to be a size 8 before I had my eldest and be able to buy childrens clothes to fit. Now I need industrial strength elastic to hold my smalls up
And whoever invented bathroom scales wants shooting. A towel doesn't make THAT much difference
