just found one of our cats by the washing machine, he was rolling on the kids wet swimming things really pulling them over his face, we reckon hes got a thing about the smell of chlorine. is this common in cats ? ive never seen a cat quite like it before.

Maybe he thinks the chlorine smell is another pussycat and was putting his scent back onto the kids clothes. Cats can be very possessive over children and tend to mark their territory against other cats.

I had a cat that used to go CRAZY over Vicks Vapour Rub. If you had some on a hankerchief in your pocket, he would actually wriggle his head inside your trousers to get at the hankie.

Maybe some cats just like strong smells? :?

One of my cats loves toothpaste and will stick his head into your mouth trying to lick your tongue. I have also caught him licking the toothbrushes which grossed me out, so they're now hidden.

My darling Suki has just been found fast asleep in my little plastic greenhouse. All my plants were everywhere and i've just spent 3 hours this afternoon re-potting them. The caulis have had it, the broccolis looking suspect and I can't find the sprouts!!!

She is a nice fat cat so should be good for basting. Any ideas anyone?

Thanks peeps. Suki (or puki as she's known) is looking a bit sheepish today. She's looking sweetly at me now, over the pc monitor with those green and blue eyes all a flutter.

I like the idea of a stew. She's got this thing about getting into tight spaces for a sleep. That's fine, except she's a right porker and sometimes has to be removed cos she's got stuck.

Stupid cat!!!

My cats love chlorine too! When I was little and came back from swimming lessons my cat used to play and bite and kick my hair!
