Very classy decoration! Nice.

Chantal. I did click back (as usual) but it did not do it. Good to see it works for you though. May have to wait longer

Dear OH Your door decoration is beautiful your mum is very talented. I wish that I could make something like that. I have tried but failed miserably. In fact you have reminded me that we have forgotton to put our wreath out this year.

Has anyone seen Parsons Jack on the forum recently. I seem to have missed him posting and he was a very regular poster on the forum like yourself OH. Just wondered if he was okay. Or maybe I have'nt been checking as often as I should. I have been very busy with various things recently. Note to self to make more time for ones self. :(

Dear garden_serf and Catherine, thanyou for the kind comments about my Mums wreath, i will pass them on to her as she needs cheering up at the moment as she has acute Sciatica and is crippled with pain.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

Chantal - I posted a comment and question about the way links work in Website Help but I guess Admin haven't had chance to look into it.

Catherine, I read one just last Friday from Parsons Jack about Long tailed tits. I love the picture of the little dog! He's a cutie!! I wonder if he has the tough nature of a JR?

Dear Donedigging, she does make them to order, but i think sadly, this might be the last year she is going to be making them. :(

Are you going to work today, if so i will be thinking of you as i'm drinking mulled wine and eating very tasty sauage rolls.

Dear OH,

Sorry to hear this may be the last year your mum makes her wreaths,
it certainly looks alot better than anything I've seen in the shops.

Yes, will be off to work later, enjoy your sausage roll and mulled wine, although a bit early in the day for me!!!

Hi all,

I'm still here, but not as often as I would like :( Just generally busy in non-gardening ways at the moment.
Garden Serf, The parsons jack in the picture is Monty, who is sleeping at my feet at the moment. He'll wake up in an hour, as he has a built in clock when it's walk on the beach time :) He's 11 years old now, and seems to get more energetic each day, or is it me slowing down :? He's very friendly with people, but doesn't like dogs much. His idea of playing is to grab them round the back of neck and pin them to the floor
Catherine, I hope all is well "up north" and that you have better luck on your allotment in the coming season.
OH, what a lovely picture of the wreath. Have you inherited any of your mothers talent

Here's a big Merry Christmas to everybody on the forum from me.
Cheers PJ.

I'm just off down the greenhouse. I won't be long...........

So Monty does have the fiesty JR gene then. We had a springer that would kill rats and leap off an 18ft drop into a fast flowing river from the end of the quay! (Sadly she's gone now, but she had a brilliant life). Dogs can be great fun can't they.

I just wanted to announce I have put the first batch of mulled wine together and it is warming on the stove, giving off the most amazing scent into the house. The question is how long can I wait to sample it.... about 10 more mins me thinks

Oldherbaceous,
I trust I have to ring the bell before I take it & drop it in the hole in the cemetry?
Happy Crimbo!
