Hi all. Sorry not been around for a while.
We are now living in NZ and enjoying our first summer here. I only have small garden at moment, but have a few things in pots, including a cape gooseberry, which I am really enjoying! I would love to try and start some new plants off from seed. Anyone know how to go about it or had any success?

Cape gooseberry / physalis are treated in the same way as a tomato. They are very good at returning with volunteers popping up just like tomatoes from any fruit that have escaped picking and dropped to the ground.
So like a tomato you could save the seeds from a fruit or simple squeeze a fruit onto the soil and lightly cover. They are a great fruit because they store well into winter so well worth growing in my opinion.
