Dear Chantal, you will have to make it more of a daybreak trip, as i go under the cover of semi darkness.
I'm sure i spotted a car acting suspiciously the other day, with an, i live in Dartmoor, Devon, sticker in the window.

Dear Jopsy, i'm afraid Alan T is a little to smooth, for me to be him.
Are you on half term this week? if so, will we be getting the pleasure of more of your postings. :D
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

I must admit I was giggling a bit

I may have mentioned that Tim is away in Spain playing golf. I had a text yesterday saying he was flying home at 23:40 and could I pick him up from East Midlands Airport. It may sound strange but as I'd not booked the flights (he went out with his golf partner who's staying there a bit longer) I had no idea when he was back.

Having said all that, I've been looking at the forecast and it's scheduled for -6C tomorrow night and my car has no heating now. I could die of hypothermia before I even get there! Any suggestions anyone? :?

Also, I'm wondering what his plan was before asking me

Dear Chantal, maybe you should pre-book a taxi for Tim, just incase you do die of hypothermia on the way, at least then he won't have to hang around the airport waiting.

I did think of this OH

As for my car, she's 24 and the problem appears to be an accumulation of rust in the pipes which stops the water circulating through the rad which heats up the air. She gets a flush through every year but there's always the danger that too much flushing may unbung a hole and cause a bigger problem.

I rarely travel more than a couple of miles so even if it worked it usually wouldn't have time to warm up which is why I don't worry about it. This is a bit of an exceptional trip, it has to be said.

One thing's for sure, I love my AJay far to much to part with her 'cos I get cold feet.
