Wautoma cucumbers
Moderators: KG Steve, Chantal, Tigger, peter
We had a seedling bring-n-buy sale at our allotments last week and I got two of these little babies. I've potted them up but I don't know what to expect. Are they long or short, greenhouse or ridge - does anybody know this variety? Be glad of advice.

Hi Giulia
If they are Wautoma they will probably be from Real Seeds. The information you need is on Ben & Kate's website:

These were a bit of a disappointment in the end, and they didn't like being asked to climb a frame. The cucumbers themselves were fat and tasty but there weren't many of 'em. Marketmore and Cyrstal Apple, growing through membrane on the flat and allowed to ramble, did much better.
