Hi Folks,
Our group of neighbors intend to write to our local Parish Council, requesting that they provide allotments for the community. Has anyone been down this road before who could provide us with persuasive arguments or facts that would assist our cause.
Thanks in anticipation

Hi atco,

I think you need 6 or 10 people who are on the electoral register, But my advise would be to contact the The National Society of Allotment and Leisuer Gardeners Ltd as they would give you all the relevant information you need.
National Society of Allotment & Leisure Gardeners Ltd, O'Dell House, Hunters Road, Corby, Northants, NN17 5JE, Tel: 01536 266576, Fax: 01536 264509, Email: [email protected]
Registered in 1930 under the Industrial and Provident Societies Acts no 11144R.

Hope this is of some help and good luck

Kind Regards & Best wishes

Kevin
