Grown from seed 2 years ago.Connover's Colossal. Nice with a stir fry.

(very early: the recent rains made it all shoot up with a whoosh).

I sowed Connovers in 2005 too and am toying with the idea of cutting one or two spears per plant as they look healthy enough, :lol: however the text books say they should be left another year before harvesting :?
Should I or shouldnt I....... :?:
