Long term forecast reckons that it will stay cold until about 27 December then back to the dreary mild, wet and windy theme. Must say, I HATE IT. Would love to see more cold, frosty weather, and don't even mind the fog (not nice if you're doing a lot of driving of course). I find it v. disturbing that temps are due to rise to 10+ again, and would prefer it to stay below 7 degrees until end Jan/Feb at least.
When is everyone gonna wake up and DO something? Particularly government -national and international. Everything is so short sighted. My daughter said to me the other day 'it's alright for you, you'll be long gone before everything floods and there's not enough food'. But I actually think it won't be very long before this happens, and I might just live to see it!!!!!
