Hi all,
any suggestions for grapevine varieties growing in the conservatory eaves of a South Facing conservatory? Here's the plan, seen at a friend's house, so I know it works:-
Roots planted outside, stem running into the conservatory through a clay pipe, running up the conservatory framework into the roof, then spreading on wire runners. Glass conservatory roof is reflective "K" glass, so not too hot in summer. Preferred choice would be: excellent taste, but also good for juicing and/or winemaking. Red or white doesn't matter. Seedless would be nice, but not crucial.
Any recommended varieties from folks doing similar?
Thanks, Gaga.

I've got 4 in one of my tunnels, all of which are excellent. I'll look up their names when I get home.
