We're in a ground floor flat. I have difficulty with stairs and only the taller most modern flats have lifts.

I think the guy upstairs is a cross between a kangaroo and an elephant but it's hard to imagine how either of those could be so heavy footed. It's boof, boof, boof, making this flat shudder. At times I think he's going to come through the ceiling.

I don't know why some people hoof about like that when there's no need for it. :( Is it ignorance or what?

Probably just habitual Stravaig, probably doesn't even realise.

So, what the heck caused him (I assume it's a bloke) might have caused him to develop that habit?

Knock on his door and ask "are you ok? We keeep hearing all these heavy thumps and wondered if you d fallen.. He,d have to be pretty thick skinned not to take the hint!
