I like smoked haddock, neeps, and tatties. I thought it might be a good idea to make a pasty using the fish instead of mince. It was OK I suppose. It was ebible and rather than waste it we're having it for lunch.
Take 2. I actively dislike it. LOL. Husband can wade though these pasties. I'm much fussier than him.
It seemed like a good idea to me to make this but the idea was a lot better than the result. I definitely won't be making this again.

I don,t think you can beat the real thing made with meat althiugh originating from Cornwall with its plentiful fish on the coastline I'm surprised an alternative fish version wasn't invented. Perhaps nobody could stand the smell of lingering cooked fish in the tin miners cottages! Even in modern kitchens it's not always easy to get rid of.
