Supermarket pizzas are often bowf. And our local pizza shops aren't that great either. I like to make my own but I can't be bothered making the pizza dough today. Yeah, I know you can buy pizza bases from the shops. Can't say I'm interested.

What we're doing is using panini (halved horizontally and lighly toasted) as the base and then adding our favourite toppings. Brie de Meaux, mushrooms, thinly sliced red onions, tomato, etc. OK, just whap it under the grill until the cheese is bubbling. OK, so it's only glorified cheese on toast but it'll be better than a nasty pizza and it'll make a nice quick meal too. (Good for a meal for one.)

I'm always put off with bought Pizza's & that's just the pics in the flyers they shove through the door. Considering what the charge they are well stingy with toppings.
