Welcome Jan. Sorry I don't know the answer to your question as I'm no computer techie. Perhaps the approving individual may be on holiday or off sick, or something. Don't know how these things work.
Very frustrating for you but please don't run away....!

Maybe that,s because there,s some algorithm in the system whixh recognises existing subscribers?

I have a feeling this has happened before, a very long time ago!
If i’m right, it was because of the use of certain words, or a combination of words…..
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

I really don't see why kg subscribers should wait for approval, they need their subscription id number to join and it would be simple to get hold of their name and address if they misbehaved in any way. Just a thought.

Software platforms have inbuilt filters to weedle out new posters posting spam adverts, or one occasion porn images. There is usually a counter and once you pass that pre set number you can post pictures.

Just the way the magazine has set up the forum, no distinguishing difference in the data visible to me between joe public and subscribers.
You don't see the ones I ban on first post, you might spot a slow-burn spammer vanish when they go back and insert inappropriate links into a previously clean post.
Do not put off thanking people when they have helped you, as they may not be there to thank later.
