I am sure many of you will have heard about this. It popped up on my facebook feed today. I have an old rabbit hutch placed on it's end in the corner of the shed, since April I have had a bumblebee flying past me to the hutch, this was before the swallows nested. Each time it passed I wished it a good day, it left me alone so no problem for me to let it stay in the shed, just before the swallows started nesting 2 bumblebees flew past and I did mention 3 bumblebees in the poppy. I was pleased to receive a download booklet about bumblebees from the coronation project, next to do list is a water feature of some kind and add more bee friendly plants next year.
