I went on to iPlayer expecting to get Saturday Kitchen as usual. But it wasn't there. It's some episode of Coronation Street or something. :o

By the way, I have been away on a holiday - somewhere very exciting and exotic. :D

Of course you didn't see me. I usually travel incognito, if not in disguise. I was the man with black hair, brown eyes, and a moustache. And a Harris Tweed hat.

The highlight of the holiday was a visit to a nearby town gasworks with a lovely voluntary worker called Paul. If I ruled the world, every museum would have a Paul to tell you about stuff.

I've just discovered the gasworks has a website.
https://fakenhamgasmuseum.com/

We didn't actually plan to visit. It just happened that we drove past it and in the showroom at the front they had an impressive collection of old gas cookers. Given my interest in food and cooking, I was keen to have a closer look, so we stopped. If you're in the area I would highly recommend a visit. :D
