It's probably more to do with my not feeding them enough, but they're in the equivalent of guttering and are producing loads of tendrils but not so many leaves. To be honest, the tendrils are so tough, I could use them as dental floss. As for the leaves, let's not mention those, eh?
I will have a go in a different location and with another style of planting, but blimey, they're awful. No one will thank me for putting those in a salad.

Search the topic - I won't put a name down on which regular overcomes this with bought dried peas from a normal shop. I'd just insult them & credit the wrong person! (Memory lapse time). Cheaper option & great success!

I grow my pea shoots from packets of dried soup peas. it tempting to let them grow rather longer but they do get wiry and stringy so the secret is to sow little and often at regular intervals and to pick and eat when only a few inches high.
