Garlic has rust on them, assume nothing I can do to save them.
If I pull them up & remove the leaves will they be edible or do I bin the lot?

I wouldn't worry about a bit of rust in your garlic, especially at this late stage, when it is almost ready. I have found it doesn't have any effect on the bulbs.

Mine has it as well & gets it every year, along with the leeks sometimes. With the garlic I just dry it out & then take off any rust affected layers & dry again, but that is cosmetic as it looks better & cheers me that it looks like supermarket ones, but totally unnecessary really. If you want to plait the stems it will be fine as well to do that with a bit of rust as will just die when the leaves dry.
