I intend to register as I do find this forum brilliant. The registration form looks VERY complicated. It all looks like a foreign language to me ! If I just fill in my email address and password and ignore the rest would this be adequate ?

Hi Happymouse, I added my location etc as well but I don't think many of us (I certainly don't) understand all the rest of it, and it works...

I think you can put as much or as little as you like, if you click on the 'we have *** number of registered users' bit, you can see some people put loads of info, others don't put anything, so I think its up to you how much you 'reveal'!

Hi,

Just to confirm what others have already said, the only required information is a username, and your email address.

All the rest is voluntary. :)
