Chilli Peppers

Please can anyone recommend a chilli that isn't too hot? A bit of heat but flavour too is what I'm after. I've looked at various supplier websites and the range is huge! Thank you

Jalapeno or Joe's Long are medium heat.

This is a difficult question! They usually increase in heat as they ripen so eating green is different to eating red. They seem to vary from fruit to fruit on the same plant and between plants of the same variety. They also vary from season to season, hot and sunny hotter chillis. So it can be a bit of a lottery.
As I guess you know heat is measured in Scoville units. This website has a lot of information https://www.chilipeppermadness.com/chil ... i-peppers/ classifying them as 'sweet and mild' 0 - 5,000 Scoville, 'medium' 5,000 - 15,000, 'medium to hot' 15,000 - 100,000, and on upwards and hotter.
Jalapeno types are an easy mid-heat type at 2,500 - 8,000. If you like stuffing them Big Jim 2,500 - 3,000 may be worth a try. We also do well with Fuego 2,500 - 5,000 and Serrano Tampiqueno 3,000 (though I think it is a bit hotter than that sometimes).

As I'd like to say: pick your poison!
Jalapeño is certainly one with less heat and I find them very easy to grow, even when the season is bad they produce a lot.
