Do not put off thanking people when they have helped you, as they may not be there to thank later.

Lovely close up. We have lots of them out around here too and they're very pretty although I don,t know whether they provide much pollen for the bees. Wish the soim would warm up a little to encourage the snowdrops to come through. Not a peep of any here yet.

I would just like to say a huge thank you to everyone for their very kind and thoughtful words and also the jokes...they always make me smile....

Dear OH
I have deliberately held off posting in the hope that I might think of something to say which isn't at my normal anal level.

Morning Old Sausage, you never fail to make me smile, least of all this morning .....and you never stop thinking of others, so a huge thank you....The most beautiful sunrise here this morning and it was also very peaceful out there at 2.15am, after I had been along the lane to sort someones house alarm out...

Dear OH, I'm sure we will all be thinking of you tomorrow.
We can hardly say "Lie back and enjoy it" but I hope the procedure is straightforward and has the result you want from it.
Good luck!

Funny, I was just thinking exactly the same thoughts about OH when I just logged on. He'sprobably lying there very uncomfortable and a bit woozy at the moment so let's hope he can get a good night's sleep. At least tomorrow morning he can wake up and it's all over.

Just got back from a woodland burial funeral when the sleet really started so glad it didn't come an hour earlier or it would have been a very miserable affair. Now we're sitting here with the heating and lights on trying to thaw out.

Just to let you all know, OH is doing okay but still in hospital. He says he hopes you’re all behaving yourselves while he’s on temporary leave.
