I'm sure there's a thread or a comment in a thread about the seeds we got, can't find it now, but I found some fruits today and even found a couple that the slugs hadn't had a go at, quite tasty. I don't think I've ever had a white one before, I have 7 plants, 5 of which are white, quite pleased as I didn't expect fruit in the first year.

I'm pleased with mine too Tiger, the flavour of the white ones seems slightly different from the red ones but they are all fruiting well at the moment and a very pleasant addition to my breakfast. (Not enough to share yet)

You might have left them on too long, they're better before they get to that stage Retro.

I,be found a number of them growing wild in one of my borders. . No idea where they came from and none of them have fruited so have pulled them out. They,re a bit of nuisance really. With limited growing space I need plants to be a little more productive than these are.

I love grazing round the garden, a pea here or a blackberry there, these little strawbs are delicious.

I've always found them nice but a bit gritty
