Anyone got any good recipes or ideas for using this?

I keep getting a bag full left by the back gate every couple of weeks from our mate who I asked to source me some in the first instance. I've been adding it to my home-made stocks & really like the mild hint of garlic in soups & risottos I make with the stock.

Wild Garlic pesto is yummy, and keeps well in the fridge for ages.

Would need to search for the recipe but it's wild Gallic, olive oil, Parmesan cheese and pine nuts blended together. Add to pasta or make garlic bread out of it.

It may be in a Hugh F W book, but quantities don't matter that much - it's down to taste!

Thanks Alan!

Most of those sites didn't come up when I just googled Wild Garlic!

Cheers Westi

Ps Pawty! Like the idea of pesto!

So pleased to find this.

We have a brook just down the road and the banks are covered with wild garlic. No idea where it came from because it seemed to just appear about 15 years ago. Since then it has spread and I've been wondering how I could use it. Always good to have a free source of food :D

Welcome Brad1!

I've searched loads of recipes but 'wild garlic' not Ramsons! So now I have thanks to Alan! Still like the flavour they put into stock though which will keep the season longer than the stir fry which was delish as well!
