I have a new neighbor who wants to grow black/red currants in pots. Has anyone done this successfully and which varieties would you recommend?

Thanks
Beryl.

I've just sold my potted white current bush, they tend to grow fairly well in pots do currents. The only thing I would advise is to get one of those self watering reservoir pots, and feed it well. They dont take well to being dry.
