Oh dear, I know what he means about the smell and texture of the logs though. I bought a load of sweet chestnut logs a couple of years ago and they smelt beautiful and even better when they were burning. I also like the feel of silver birch and cherry bark. I don't have any problems burning them though, so perhaps I'm ok

Oh dear, I sort of feel the same, I took a picture of my log stack and had it blown up into a big print it looked so beautiful. I draw the line at not burning them though
