Hi Arnie,
Commercially it is sold by the kilogram but there is no reason why you cannot sell it by volume. I have never bought it from a garden centre and they may market it differently.

Just had a look in LBS Garden Warehouse, and they sell it in 10ltr, 25ltr and 100ltr bags.

So a cheap 1ltr or 2ltr jug should do the job a treat. :)
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

I must confess that it is about twenty years since I bought any Perlite and it appears that the producers have come up to date and by volume is obviously the way to go.

Erm ?

A dummies guide to Perlite please, I hate to be missing out. I have read whats available to read on the internet and it sounds like a very useful tool.

At a time when store-bought composts are getting unreliable as peat-free substitutes take over how are you people using Perlite ?
How are you supposed to start and maintain a healthy lifestyle if it completely removes a wine lover’s reason to live?
