My poorly peach is still a diaster with peach leaf
curl everywhere but while I was examining it yesterday
to decide if I had to make the kindest cut I found 2
peaches still on and perfect so not a 100% loss.
Anyway while doing this I noticed nearly all of the branches
are very dark from the tips to about 6" from the main
trunk. Would this be from the peach leaf curl as well and
will I have to give it a drastic prune whenever it can be
done?
I don't really mind if I have to a it will make it easier to
cover and possibly train into a better shape. The tree
right beside it is covered in fruit and still unaffected but
would probably consider doing the same thing to it to train
it also.
