Strabwerry pest

Some of my strawberries Flamenco, in their 4th season, are affected by clusters of tiny worms about 8-10mm long and about 1/2mm thick which have burrowed into the flesh. In 10 years of growing strawberries this is the first time I have encountered these. My Elsanta which are growing in a different area seem unaffected. Any ideas on what they are or how to get rid of them?
