Cabbage whites

Can't identify that mould? Got a great tip for keeping slugs at bay? Suggestions for organic weed control? Post them here...

Went in the garden today and checked my purple sprouting, low and behold 2 inch long cabbage white caterpillers! Never seen them this early, not even in sunny Somerset! Anybody else had them yet? :shock:

yep, my romanesco had two big fat caterpillars inside on Sunday, one bright green, and one mottled brown. little bu**ers!! :evil:

I managed to stir fry one on Thursday making some minestrone soup with the Black kale I had just harvested.......picked it out but if it had any friends we've eaten them! :?

Haven`t seen any caterpillars yet - haven`t looked to be honest - but I have been wondering why my PSB has developed rather lacy outer leaves! I`ll have a bug hunt when I go up the allotment next.
Dammit! :(
