I have no idea what kind of bug or mould this could be. Perhaps it's very common for a currant. I never had this with my berry bushes before untill I bought a red and white currant at the local gardening store. Both currants are affected now and I am afraid this will spread through the garden.
The following is affecting the tip of those plants and it slowly moves to the rest of it. What can I do about it?

this looks like powdery mildew. There is little that the amateur gardener can do about this. It is worst in hot dry conditions so keep your plants well watered; if grown in pots use a saucer underneath the pot to provide more constant moisture. Clear up all infected leaves after they have fallen and dispose off site or burn them.
Not sure what the little creatures are on the back of the leaves but aphids of some sort seems likely.
