Puckered leaves on French beans

Can't identify that mould? Got a great tip for keeping slugs at bay? Suggestions for organic weed control? Post them here...

My climbing French beans (Cobra) have puckered leaves. I wonder why - the cooler weather or a disease?

Sorry, tigerburnie, no can do. I have looked at pictures of virus damage but it does not look like that.

I would guess it has been too cold. I haven't got any outside to compare. If it is, the coming week with overnight fives isn't going to help much.

Try looking at images of capsid bug (shield bug) damage.

A few of mine are puckered too but I put this down to my foolishness at planting them out too early and them not liking the cold nights.

How sweet, Robo ..... There is no capsid bug damage, Sally, so I think it must be the weather because they are growing quite happily expect for the slight wrinkles and crinkles.
