My beetroot, which were growing fabulously, have been hit with leaf miner before I could get enviromesh over them. I've stripped nearly all the infected leaves off and put the mesh over, but I expect it will spread again. How badly does this affect the actual beetroot - total wipeout, just growing smaller, or no problem? Thanks for any advice.

Sorry John, can't help! I just realised I didn't even sow any on the weekend so going in tomorrow, but never had any problem before though except for flea beetle which decimates the wee leaves, but it still grows & late in the season I even get clear leaves off them on the bigger roots to throw in a salad as well!
