Honey Fungus again.
After losing a malus, a few years ago, and last year a fuchsia (confirmed as HF by the RHS) I now see my beautiful magnolia stellata is going the same way, together with the climbing rose which keeps it company.
Does anyone know of a small ornamental tree to plant in its place? I know that the RHS has a list - but I'm after practical experience.
