Can't identify that mould? Got a great tip for keeping slugs at bay? Suggestions for organic weed control? Post them here...

What reason have you to believe you need to spray?
I never spray my fruit trees and have very few problems.
Do you have a specific pest or disease you want to tackle?

The best time to spray depends on what you want to target. Unless your fruit is martyr to a particular problem, don't spray at all. A diligent prophylactic regime, such as practised by commercial growers who are striving for perfect fruit, is carried out throughout the growing season. Different fruits have different sets of potential pathogens, and they all require different approaches. Spraying isn't always the right one.
Allotment, but little achieved.
