I guess the rain is bringing the weeds up nicely. Sunny spells and quite humid here, havee been in the garden for a few hours.

No rain here today
Managed to lift three rows of Desiree potatoes this morning. Very pleased with the crop.
Another two rows of Desiree, and two rows of Cara to lift

Beautiful later summer's day here and especially nice after some rain overnight. The ground is still very dry, though. I dug up the finished calabrese plants yesterday and the soil just fell off the roots. and the field pond just outside the village is still dried up!
