Oh what a cheery soul you are OH
I think the years go by so quickly now I don't like to be reminded too soon of the next season.

I just try and enjoy every single day as it comes along Beryl, of course, some are a little better than others, but most are packed full of enjoyment.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

I knew you would cheer me up OH.
I've just bought 2 new gooseberry bushes, pot grown this time. I've always had bare rooted stock before but thinking if I wanted to get to eat any of them I had better have something that would crop next year. and then T & M's email hence the reminder of how quickly the years are going by.

I will try and follow your philosophy in future. - thanks.

Yes, I had my Autumn catalogue in the post yesterday and couldn't really look at it just yet :( I know we have to plan ahead - but I just couldn't muster up the enthusiasm - not when I was just about to pull up the wallflowers and replace with geraniums. I'd like to have a bit of summer first.

Bulb catalogue turned up about two weeks ago... haven't even cleared out all the pots of this spring's daffs and tulips yet.
