I add as a file as I can't get the other way to work.
Go to where it says Filename under the comment box
Clcik on the Browse button to locate the image file.
When the name of the file appears in the box click Add the file.
You may get an error message telling you pop-ups are blocked and have to allow pop-ups.
If this happens you may have to go through the process again.
Then Submit
Remember to resize your photo to a smaller size too
Hope that helps

Thank you very much gl. I wanted to show Henry Cooper's autograph and I think I have now been successful.

All depends what sort of computer device you are using.
Most of the time (99%) I use either my HTC mobile phone or my Samsung 8" tablet, which are both Android based. To resize photos I use a free App called reduce photo size, it does other stuff including cropping.
On a pc I used to use a cutdown version of photoshop that came with a digital camera I had bought.
There are(were?) photograph storing wesites that provide some basic editing functions, including bulk resizing of a batch of photos as you upload them. From memory you'd then get your picture into kg by copying a bit of code, generated on request by the photo website, and pasting it into the text/eords/typing area of kg. This never actually puts the picture in kg, just code thst gets your internet browser to display kg topic with the picture from snother website embedded in the final view.
Yes I do work in IT but not as techncal as I usedvto be!
Do not put off thanking people when they have helped you, as they may not be there to thank later.

`Heavy stuff. What's kg?
I find ImageMagick resizes with ease, on all platforms.
