I did a similar manoeuvre myself about 3 months after passing my test many years ago - thank god there was nothing like that hole in the vicinity. Oh, my, goodness, as they say...
Kind regards,

Good picture but I have to say - good digital manipulation. I can't believe that the two guys standing next to the truck are really at the top of a cliff. Sorry to be a spoilsport but........

That'll be the answer then!! Did he eat them or throw them into the canyon to break his fall?

Alan
Seems true then. The thing that made me think it wasn't was the firemen standing between the wreck and the edge. Absolutely no need to do that and fireman aren't foolhardy (or they don't stay firemen for long!). Having looked again it may be that the long lens has foreshortened the view so much that they seem to be closer to the edge than they actually are. Even so - very lucky people in the truck. Wonder if they went out and bought a lottery ticket that weekend?
