Newspapers last week were going on about some research into nutritional values of agricultural produce. Iron content (etc) being half what it was 20-30 years ago. An editorial today commented on pre-1940's farming being todays organic farming.
Could KG pick up on this and test some allotment produce, maybe with the original researchers?

In Sawbridgeworth, Herts, is the remains of the once mighty empire of Thomas Rivers Nursery.
The original orchards survive as a community resource run by The Friends of River's Orchard", could KG contact them for a run through of their old varieties and the new use for this internationally important site. Bred and distributed many fruit varieties, is credited with many many firsts.
