Am a teacher in a primary school, where parents are upset cos their children have been put into ability groups to help them with their maths and literacy, in case they are upset by what group they are put in. Then they complain that their children are not making sufficient progress cos little Jonny is with little Duane who is um well, frankly, thick and disruptive. You just can't win.

There is only one response. ARGHGHGHHHHHH!!!! :!: :evil: :x

If you want a breath of fresh (old) air, go to a rugby club. My twelve year old started after the English World cup win.

Some samples;

"Stop that poncing about, thats what soccer player do, this is rugby." To a boy running back up the pitch waving both arms in the air after scoring a try.

"OK, can you feel your toes, OK, wiggle them, OK, any tingles, no, OK, up you get, right scrum-down, bib's put-in". To a boy who was tackled hard and then squashed under eight enthusiastic lumps.

"That was offside, Sir". To a ref who 'couldnt' see one of his side persistentlu offside at the scrum.

And yes mazmezroz, the primary head where our two went, her idea of punishing a persistent bully, stay in at lunchtime and play on the computers.
