Jopsy, just search the forum for LULU.
It is, sadly, Chantals porta-loo.

Peter, I just knew I could rely on you to fill Jo in on the subject of my Lulu. I read this thread earlier and then just sat back and waited... You'll be thrilled to know that I've just ordered Adam's book "Taking the Piss - a Potted History" so I'll be even better informed on the old Liquid Gold before the month is out

Chantal, I swear you were a tanner or medieval industrial chemist in a previous life.

i was v excited by the 13 acres/3 horses/stream/stables; but the house/barn was miserable!
it was upsidedown and there were no views from the bedrooms
it needed finishing off and was sadly unloved!
soooooooooooo we wont be moving in-sorry OH!
it really didnt even have poptential and i tinkn i ruined my boots-i stupidly wore my red leather ones instead of wellies!
im still hoping we can buy the thatch! i even gave away 4 bin bags of clothes to charity today in eager anticipation

Dear Jopsy, don't get to down hearted, some things are just not meant to be, i prefer thatch cottages anyway, i lived in one for about twenty years, so i know how cosy they can be.
As for your very fetching red leather boots, you can always buy another pair.
Did Lily like the horses.
I'll try and put an old photgraph of where i used to live on here.
Keep your spirits up, i know what you young ladies are like when you get something in your heads.

Dear Jopsy on the first picture that comes up, it is the cottage opposite the red lion, and no it's not me crossing the road.
Then click on the post office.
I now live up the other end of the village near the churh.

oooh, Herby, you lucky barsteward
What a beautiful place to live. It's wonderful.
I feel sad now. I want to live in a place like that, not where I am. It's horrible.
That looks so beautiful. A chocolate box looking village.
So, how would you feel about me and a very hung over Grock (yep, she's feeling very delicate this evening. Even her teeth feel as though they're swimming) camping in your garden with 5 kids, 2 other halfs, 2 dogs and a cat?
Would tomorrow afternoon suit?

It is a lovely village, and i do really love it, but there is one thing that must spoil it for everyone,
And thats Me.
I really am trying to become one of those village characters that no one ever forgets.
Whats the young Grock been upto then Lizzie, she sounds as if she's been partaking of the waters in a big way.
You are more than welcome to come visiting, if you can make it in June, that will be nice, as i won't be here, i'm of to Wales looking for a certain bridge.

Cheeky Herby
The Grockster went to visit a relative and apparently rolled in (literally) at 3am. She was singing a lovely old ballad about a ship called Venus.
I don't know it myself, being of a sweet and innocent nature. According to her husband, she feels as rough as a sumo wrestlers armpit tonight
