Dear All,
just a silly seasonal story to make you chuckle (I hope!).
I needed a plank out of the back of my shed, so there I was almost upside down in the back when I brass band starts up with a rendition of "God rest ye merry gentlemen". Now this is not the usual kind of noise one hears in an allotment shed so moi was somewhat startled to say the least. I straightened up so fast I beaned myself on the shed roof. I staggered out to find the sally army band over the other side of the stream in the garden of the flats doing "carol singing".
So this merry gentlewoman (and if you believe that...) went and had a rest to get over the shock.
Regards Sally Wright.
Ps happy Christmas and don't forget to sow your prizewinning onions after the Queen's Speech (gets you out of washing up....)
silly season story.
